Gennady Geskin MD, FACC is the founder of Greater Pittsburgh Vascular Associates. Dr. Geskin is a Board Certified Cardiovascular Physician and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC). His area of expertise spans both cardiac and vascular disease and he is considered one of Pittsburgh’s pioneers in advanced vascular procedures.
His credentials include board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Vascular, and Endovascular Medicine.
Dr. Geskin’s team at Greater Pittsburgh Vascular Associates is dedicated to providing top quality, personalized care for all stages of life. Dr. Geskin completed his residency at New York Medical College. He went on to complete fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Allegheny General Hospital. Dr. Geskin has been a practicing physician for over two decades.

Taylor Stewart

Taylor Stewart is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 12 years of dedicated experience specializing in wound care. Based in Pittsburgh, PA, she serves as the Chief Clinical Officer for US Wound & Vascular—one of the largest mobile wound care practices in Western Pennsylvania.
In her leadership role, Taylor oversees a dynamic and rapidly growing team of 20+ physicians and advanced practice providers. Together, they assess and treat more than 100,000 wounds annually across all post-acute care settings.
Taylor is deeply passionate about healing complex and chronic wounds and brings both clinical excellence and a personalized touch to every patient interaction. Her approach to care is rooted in compassion and supported by evidence-based practices that promote optimal healing and improve overall quality of life. Beyond her superior clinical outcomes, she has a unique ability to understand and truly harness technology for its ongoing benefit in the industry. This skill set allows Taylor to heal wounds with optimal efficiency, resolve problems with outstanding communication, and deploy resources for the entire practice and the hundreds of thousands of wounds that have healed under her leadership.

William Vavro
Director of Operations
William Vavro, co-founder and managing partner of US Wound & Vascular. William is a graduate of Duquesne University School of Business and a Masters Degree in Corporate Communication.
William brings a vast range of wound care product, device and practice management knowledge to this role with 20+ years
of industry experience. William held positions as Wound Care Sales Representative, Regional Sale Manager, National Sales Trainer and National Long Term Care Sales Director. His experience has offered perspective and resources that result in industry changing efficiencies and improved outcomes.
William pioneered and introduced the Surgical Dressing Physician Dispensing model to Long Term Care in the US, creating a new and more efficient system for patients to receive wound care supplies with the first order in 2016 with his role at CPN BioScience. His model has since been replicated by the largest post acute wound care practices across the country and has helped millions of wound care patients in the US.
